4th of July on Lake Ontario

We traveled with Grandma and Grandpa Austin to visit family in Fair Haven, NY. We stayed at Uncle Clyde's camp on the shores of beautiful (understatement) Lake Ontario to celebrate the 4th of July, surprise Grandpa with a 60th birthday bash, and to catch up with some family and friends. It was truly a wonderful, wonderful trip. Thank you to everyone that made our weekend so enjoyable. We miss you all, but we WILL be seeing you all again soon as we insist you are all a part of Tighe's life as he starts to make his way in this world.

Rudy's at the Loop

We grabbed a bite to eat at Rudy's at the Loop upon arrival. Grandma Rie went to great length to warn Dad about the strong winds. What Grandma Rie failed to mention was the sea gulls that repeatedly attacked him from above, smashing through his tray of food and hitting him in the head. Vintage moment.
